Intern Program
The idea of a Intern Program came up in e-discussion in our Jobs Group and was approved by our Coordinating Committee. This program is designed to provide OD internships at local consulting firms or other organizations for both new and experienced practitioners. The design of the program provides a guideline of three months, twelve hours, unpaid experience, customized to meet the needs of the learner and the sponsor. We
have various professionals available for internship, and we are
currently soliciting internship proposals from individuals and firms,
In addition we are interested in provided research opportunities for
interns. Such work would could include investigating new OD topics
and identifying qualified program presenters. This would be interesting
work for individuals who enjoy research, thinking about progressive
approaches to theory and practice, and getting to know thought
leaders in the field. In
addition, intern research of local companies that exemplify best OD
practices has been suggested. Such research could support program
presentations and/or partnering arrangements.
