Learning
Group in Second Life
The
Learning Group is the first organization of its kind to
utilize Second Life.
Our new Second Life Clubhouse provides members with the opportunity to participate
in many more meetings, including those of their own devising. We
offer customized Second Life orientations as part of the Learning
Group benefits package.
On July 9,
7:30 PM to 9:30 PM we will be holding the first a series of open
houses. This session, facilitated by Linda
Kelley, will be on "Getting Around in Second
Life," covering walking,
jumping, flying, teleporting, using maps, and conducting field
trips. RSVP’s may be sent to programs@learninggroup.org,
but ODLG SL members should feel free to attend even if circumstances
do not allow such notice.

of the Month
Each
month we select a questions from our program meeting for follow up
discussion on our blog, http://mbodlg.blogspot.com/.
The current question, from our June 24
meeting is "How
can broaden the scope of OD practice?"
Members are invited to become blog writers on

Coaching
with the Leadership Agility Compass

Bill
Joiner of
ChangeWise,
will lead this program, via discussion, focused reflection,
and peer coaching, on expanding one’s coaching practice via the
“leadership agility compass”. Participants will learn how to
collaboratively assess managers' level of agility and how to use
this tool and related methods to coach clients so that they
frame their initiatives in more powerful ways, work more
effectively with stakeholders, solve problems more creatively, and
develop the habit of proactively learning from their experience.
